Rooted in visual anthropology and committed to telling the stories and faces of postmodernity, WildMovie Production is a creative hub dedicated to exploring new cinematic languages and experimenting with alternative production and distribution strategies.
Over the years, WildMovie has produced documentaries, shorts, and feature-length films that have gained visibility at both Italian and international festivals, earning numerous awards—including the Visioni Doc Prize from the Cineteca di Bologna for Black Tomato, the Lenovo Award at the African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival in Milan for My Little Dhaka, and the Brave New World Tribute at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival for The time of the bees.
WildMovie’s latest project, Surrogacy Underground, tackles the complex topic of surrogacy through an investigative, transnational lens. Initially distributed across major streaming platforms, the film was controversially removed from SamsungTV upon request, and is currently available exclusively on ZaLabView.org.
In parallel with its original productions, WildMovie also collaborates on the development, direction, and supervision of external film and television projects, including partnerships with Rai Cinema, Sky, and MTV.
